Thanks to my son Damon Floyd, for taking this photo of me preaching at the Heartland Church of Christ on May 21, on my 80th birthday. The lesson was on “General Naaman” (2 Kings 5:1-19).

I have been preaching the gospel message for 56 years and 17 of those years have been with the Heartland congregation, which with the blessings of the Almighty we started in June of 2000. Mitch Davis has been a fine co-preacher with the congregation for 12 years. We anticipate much spiritual and numerical growth ahead.

Both before and after worship I was overwhelmed with the love and generosity of my brothers and sisters in Christ. We were surprised with an overflowing of many gifts of love and generosity. Thanks to everyone for making this special! We love all our Heartland family.
